Detroit Pistons at Orlando Magic

They’re the better team and have been a covering machine as of late. These teams rank within a few spots in turnover rate, true shooting percentage and defensive rating, all near the bottom of the league.

However, this game may be decided by a few points, so the Pistons’ significantly better free throw rate could give them the edge. Detroit is also the much hotter team and hasn’t played since Tuesday so should be well-rested.

They say home-court advantage counts for around 3 points, so these teams would be about even on a neutral court.

With both teams missing key star players, it’ll be youth and role players that must step up. I trust players like F Saddiq Bey, who is averaging 15.9 points per game, more than guards Cole Anthony and Jalen Suggs

Both of these teams are .500 on the total. The Pistons are 23-23-1 O/U this season, and the Magic are 24-24-1 O/U.

That said, it’s two bad offenses and two bad defenses, so anything can happen. I’d stay away with Pistons as the best play in this game.
